Careers at Interzero – help to shape the future
Anyone who wants to turn our vision of a waste-free future into their career goal is very welcome on board. The career opportunities are as diverse as our recycling and environmental services.
A system for sustainability: every year, we close new product, material or logistics cyclers for our customers. We do so with made-to-measure services that start at one end with the return and recovery of materials via a European multi-use logistics network and innovative recycling solutions and finish at the other with our modern plastics recycling. Our portfolio’s diversity is matched by the career options at Interzero – and the highly qualified people who bring these professions to life.
Meet the Team: New video series on job profiles at Interzero
Remarketing Manager Elvira Brittinger shares her passion for planning and organizing with us in episode nine. In the Interzero Product Cycle team, she manages a variety of projects and keeps an overview even during the largest purchasing projects.
Even when the planning is complete and all details are organized, daily life is anything but boring. Every day in project management brings new, exciting challenges.
By the way, we won Elvira's heart by making the world a little bit better every day – for example, through refurbishing old smartphones, which then go back on sale.
In Episode #8, we introduce Nicholas von Chamier Gliszczinski, who is part of the Production Team at Interzero Product Cycle, responsible for certified data deletion on used smartphones—because only a completely data-free device is ready to begin its second life with our customers.
Nicholas particularly appreciates the trust that both he and his team receive from their supervisors. He enjoys the freedom to solve problems independently. When conventional deletion methods suddenly fail due to a new system update, he remains calm and always finds a reliable way to ensure the data is fully erased.
Thanks to Nicholas' efforts, we can give discarded smartphones a second life and conserve valuable resources.
In our seventh episode, we meet our Marketing & Sponsorship Manager, Max Beer, who oversees Interzero's main sponsorship of the basketball Bundesliga team ALBA BERLIN. During the day, Max manages a typical office routine with meetings, while in the evening, he ensures that our advertising spaces are perfectly displayed at ALBA BERLIN’s home games. Through exciting interactive initiatives with the club, such as collecting old mobile phones for refurbishment, he helps bring our vision of a world without waste a little closer to the fans and visitors.
In our sixth episode, we present Anna-Maria Zimmermann. On our platform, www.gebrauchte-technik.de she looks after our customers and advises them on the benefits of pre-owned IT products. With great passion, the Sales Manager is committed to promoting the purchase of such devices. "I am idealistic and want a clean environment for my family," she explains.
The production of new IT devices requires the use of rare raw materials and consumes significant amounts of water and energy. By choosing a refurbished device, individuals make a significant contribution to conserving our planet's resources.
With her enthusiasm for sustainability and idealistic approach, Anna-Maria perfectly aligns with our vision of a world without waste
In episode five, we introduce our project engineer David Wolf, who was responsible for the planning, construction and commissioning of our PET recycling plant in Liebenau.
For the rPET granulate produced there to be turned back into new PET bottles, clean processes and perfect coordination of all machines are essential. This is possible thanks to our dedicated team that ensures these operations run smoothly.
In this way, we not only create a high-quality recycling product for the industry, but also close the bottle-to-bottle cycle and come a big step closer to our vision of a world without waste.
In our fourth episode, our colleague Nathalie Kirchner keeps as Head of Strategy and Organisation at Interzero Circular Solutions Europe a firm grip on the strategic goals of our European subsidiaries.
In her job, she needs the ability to initiate change. This also includes the willingness to adapt and try new things. For Nathalie, personal dialogue is crucial to the success of change processes.
In our third episode, our Division ManagerAdama Dolo takes you on his journey. In his position, Adama is responsible for a wide range of products and services. His mission is to increase the level of digitalisation in our waste management solutions. There are still many manual processes and untapped potential for automation and digital innovation in the circular economy. With his background as an engineer in IT and communications technology, he has exactly the right skillset for this mission.
In our second episode, our Quality Manager Nadine Oswald takes a close look at input-output material flows such as PET flakes or LDPE granulate, ensuring that everything dispatched to our customers meets the highest quality benchmarks. After all, high-quality recycled plastics serve as a crucial component for the processing industry on its journey towards a world without waste. Nadine talks about her start at Interzero and her day-to-day work in Liebenau, where premium PET and rPET granulates are produced in the new PET plant.
With "Meet the Team", we aim to provide a glimpse into our corporate culture and the unique team behind Interzero. In doing so, we present the professional and personal diversity of our team. In our first episode, our Production Manager, Oscar Fernando Heredia Lazarin, takes us through the new PET facility in Liebenau and shares insights into his daily routine at the recycling plant of Interzero Plastics Processing. Here, alongside producing rPET granules, we also manufacture LDPE granules, which we distribute to the processing industry as pure and high-quality recycled plastics.
