Support ALBA JUGEND and protect the environment with every mobile phone you donate.

There are around 210 million mobile phones in the drawers of german households. Interzero and ALBA BERLIN want to use this potential together and are therefore calling for donations: ALBA BERLIN fans, get your mobile phones out of your drawers and donate them via the collection boxes at all home games or in the fan shop. All proceeds will not only benefit the ALBA JUGEND but will also save valuable resources for the environment.

The remarketing of the mobile phones has so far raised a total of EUR 3,807.57 for ALBA JUGEND.

The reuse process saved 8,700 kg of greenhouse gases. This equates to a saving of 2,100 kg of primary resources.

Every donation will be rewarded with a voucher for 1x2 tickets to an ALBA BERLIN home game of your choice.

The donation process

This is how you can support ALBA JUGEND and protect the environment.

1 Open the drawer!

Open the drawer, take out your mobile phone! 87% of Germans have at least one unused mobile phone. You probably do too, right?

2 At every home game!

Drop your mobile phone in the collection box at the fanshop stand.

3 Support ALBA JUGEND.

After data erasure, we refurbish or recycle the devices and all the proceeds go directly to ALBA JUGEND. A real win-win situation!

Collect and do something good

Would you like to set up a collection box in your company, club or organisation to collect for ALBA JUGEND? Or your IT infrastructure is overloaded and you don't know where to store all the equipment? Contact us! We'll send you a collection box and a communication package free of charge.

All collection boxes returned to us (with at least 10 smartphones) will receive 1x2 VIP tickets for an ALBA BERLIN home game of your choice. You can raffle the tickets among the donors or use them as an internal incentive.

Circular EURO 2024: Good-Practice-Example

The joint seasonal campaign of Interzero and ALBA BERLIN has been honoured by the Federal Ministry for the Environment.

The German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) has launched the "Circular EURO 2024" project to minimise the amount of waste at a major sporting event such as UEFA EURO 2024, to avoid excessive use of resources and to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible - and the mobile phone collection campaign by Interzero and ALBA BERLIN is included as an example of good practice.
